Let our helpful and friendly staff take care of maintenance tasks for you! No more mowing the lawn or shoveling snow. During the winter, we’ll even brush the snow from your car when plowing the parking lots. And with our all-inclusive enriched living program, residents enjoy three meals a day in our restaurant, as well as housekeeping, medication management and laundry services.

The Wesley Community offers a robust schedule of enriching activities and social events at Woodlawn Commons, the Embury Apartments and the Wesley Health Care Center. Residents enjoy everything from ice cream socials, exercise classes and live music to engaging lectures and presentations. In addition to the events held in common areas and activity rooms, Woodlawn Commons hosts several off-site trips to area attractions.
6. In-House Dining
The Wesley Community offers seniors two dining options. Georgia’s restaurant at Woodlawn Commons serves breakfast, lunch and dinner every day in a traditional restaurant setting, while the Embury Café offers popular breakfast and lunch foods, a fresh salad bar and “grab & go” items in a casual atmosphere for dining in or take-out.

All apartments at Woodlawn Commons have an emergency pull cord system and nearby security staff for 24-hour peace of mind. In addition, the enriched living program at Woodlawn Commons provides around-the-clock staffing and registered nurses to help manage healthcare, medications and transportation to medical appointments. Wesley Health Care Center provides skilled long term nursing care to aging adults who have significant chronic medical needs.

The Wesley Community is a not-for-profit organization. At Woodlawn Commons, independent living residents enjoy an active retirement without the financial commitment of entrance fees, and our enriched living program rates are tailored to the level of services needed. In addition, we offer affordable housing for all income levels in our subsidized, income-based senior living apartments for fully independent, qualifying individuals age 62 to older.
