Whether you’re looking for a senior living community for yourself or a loved one, you’ll find that The Wesley Community offers a unique blend of quality, maintenance-free living and compassionate caregiving to meet the varying needs of today’s aging adults.
Instead of giving up independence, residents can choose the level of independence they prefer. From maintenance-free senior apartments to our independent living and enriched housing community to long-term care and memory support at a skilled nursing facility, The Wesley Community offers seniors the full continuum of care. If your needs change, we’ll help you transition to a more appropriate residence within our campus.
2. Maintenance-Free Living
Let our helpful and friendly staff take care of maintenance tasks for you! No more mowing the lawn or shoveling snow. During the winter, we’ll even brush the snow from your car when plowing the parking lots. And with our all-inclusive enriched living program, residents enjoy three meals a day in our restaurant, as well as housekeeping, medication management and laundry services.
3. Quality of Life
Rather than sacrificing quality of life, many of our residents experience improved health, happiness and overall well-being. No longer burdened with housekeeping, maintenance and other chores, seniors actually find that they have more time and energy for the things they enjoy, whether visiting with friends, shopping or going out to eat.
The Wesley is located in the heart of beautiful Saratoga Springs, NY. Known for its health, history and horses, Saratoga boasts a thriving arts and culture scene in addition to a National Historic Park, a thoroughbred race course and healthful mineral springs. Residents of The Wesley have access to numerous museums, restaurants, entertainment venues and shopping in Saratoga, as well as nearby Glens Falls, NY.
5. Social Activities
The Wesley Community offers a robust schedule of enriching activities and social events at Woodlawn Commons, the Embury Apartments and the Wesley Health Care Center. Residents enjoy everything from ice cream socials, exercise classes and live music to engaging lectures and presentations. In addition to the events held in common areas and activity rooms, Woodlawn Commons hosts several off-site trips to area attractions.
6. In-House Dining
The Wesley Community offers seniors two dining options. Georgia’s restaurant at Woodlawn Commons serves breakfast, lunch and dinner every day in a traditional restaurant setting, while the Embury Café offers popular breakfast and lunch foods, a fresh salad bar and “grab & go” items in a casual atmosphere for dining in or take-out.
Whether you choose our senior apartments, independent living community, enriched housing program or long-term care, The Wesley Community offers an abundance of amenities and services. Within our community, residents have access to a wide variety of conveniences, including transportation, hair salons, shops, a community garden and an art gallery.
All apartments at Woodlawn Commons have an emergency pull cord system and nearby security staff for 24-hour peace of mind. In addition, the enriched living program at Woodlawn Commons provides around-the-clock staffing and registered nurses to help manage healthcare, medications and transportation to medical appointments.
