Have you ever thought of becoming a Home Health or Personal Care Aide?
Did you know Home Care is one of today’s fastest growing occupations?
Does a flexible schedule doing rewarding work interest you?
If you’ve answered yes to any of these questions, you’re in luck. The Wesley Community is currently seeking dedicated and compassionate candidates to join our paid training program to receive your New York State Home Health Aide (HHA) Certification. Once certified you will work either part-time or per diem through our licensed home care service agency, Wesley Senior Solutions.
What’s it like to be a Personal Care Aid (PCA) or Home Health Aid (HHA)?
The primary purpose of our Personal Care Aides (PCAs) and Home Health Aides (HHAs) is to provide distant and busy families with a break from daily caregiving responsibilities. This includes providing health care tasks, personal hygiene services, light housekeeping, and occasionally transporting clients.
By hiring PCAs or HHAs, families of seniors are reassured that their loved ones are attended to and well cared for by helping seniors remain at home with courtesy, dignity and respect.
Being a PCA or HHA is a rewarding experience. Hear what one of our current Home Health Aides, Lindsay, has to say about her time as a home health aide.
