The Wesley Foundation is grateful to Marshall and Sterling Insurance of Upstate NY, for their leadership gift of $112,500 to the Campaign for Springs. This generous donation will help to renovate floors 2, 3 and 4 of the Springs building, Wesley’s oldest long-term care building.
Marshall and Sterling’s roots go back to 1865, when a carriage and sleigh manufacturer named Joseph H. Marshall decided to expand his Poughkeepsie, New York area business and start selling insurance. Today, with more than 30 locations, the employee-owned company is one of the largest independent insurance agencies in the country, offering insurance, risk management, and financial planning services.
Ken Grey, Senior Vice President & Branch Manager, is not only an executive with Marshall and Sterling, but also has had family at Wesley over the years. As Ken says, “Wesley is a vital part of our community and exceptional at helping families and individuals through life transitions. I consider them part of our extended family and am especially thankful my mother’s residence at Woodlawn.”
Marshall and Sterling is a member of The Wesley Society and The Oak Tree Society, recognizing their long-standing support of Wesley’s mission.
Marshall and Sterling, along with other generous donors, has helped to raise $4.3 million dollars toward the $5 million dollar goal for the Campaign for Springs. The estimated $30 million dollar project will transform and modernize floors 2, 3 and 4 of the Springs building at Wesley Health Care Center, as well as the Resident Activities Room on the ground floor.
Thank you, Marshall and Sterling, for your generosity.
