Dear Residents and Families of Wesley Health Care Center,
Wesley Health Care Center’s Infection Prevention and Control Program has an Antibiotic Stewardship program that focus’s on unnecessary antibiotic use and prevention for antibiotic resistance. Our goal is to optimize the treatment of infections while reducing the adverse events associated with overuse of antibiotics through continued education to our medical providers, clinicians, residents and families. Accompanied in this letter are educational resources for you to review that describes what you should know about antibiotic resistance and how to protect yourself or your loved one.
