Joining The Wesley Community through our paid CNA training program is the perfect way for you to get started on your healthcare career. - Tuition Reimbursement: We offer eligible full-time employees up to $5,250 annually (with a $12,000 lifetime cap) to cover tuition, books, and other approved fees. What is a Certified Nursing Assistant?
CNAs provide assistance to the professional staff. Daily responsibilities of CNA jobs include delivering direct care to patients (bathing, toileting, feeding, grooming, etc.) as directed by the RN or LPN. Their role will be to maintain patient comfort and safety. They’ll also need to follow all departmental policies and procedures as well as safety, environmental, and infection control standards.
The Wesley Community’s CNA Paid Training Program
Becoming a CNA doesn’t require a bachelor’s or master’s degree – just a high school diploma or equivalent. While there’s no specific degree needed, you’ll still have to pass various tests that cover patient care, hygiene, ethics, clinical skills and more.
The Wesley Community is currently seeking dedicated and compassionate candidates for our paid CNA training opportunities in Saratoga, NY to train to become a CNA, and be hired to work (full or part time) in our long-term care center. - Earn While You Learn: Get paid $15.20 during the class hours, and then $19.50 upon receiving your certification and beginning employment at Wesley.
- Class hours are from Monday – Friday, 8am – 3pm (7am – 3pm during clinical hours).
- Training last approximately 5 weeks.
- Upon successful completion, you can begin your employment at The Wesley Community.

Training Class Schedule
Week 1: Begin with an Introduction to the CNA job, Safety, Basic Nursing, and Infection Control.
Week 2: Properly learn how to Transfer/Position residents, maintaining Proper Skin Care/Bathing, Toileting, Grooming, Nutrition.
Week 3: Focuses on Mental Health for residents, Resident Rights, and proper preparation for the Cognitively Impaired. You will start Clinicals and Skill Practice.
Week 4: Hone skills with Clinicals and Skill Practicing, with a strong emphasis on giving you hands-on training.
Week 5: Finish the training with Skill Testing, partake in Mock Testing, and finally celebrate the end of the week with your Graduation.
