Silent Wings: Birds of Prey – Saratoga Senior Center

On Friday, May 4th, The Wildlife Institute of Eastern NY visited the Saratoga Senior Center with three raptors they have taken in for rehabilitation. Attendees enjoyed an informative discussion about the unique behavior of owls, falcons and other birds of prey, the conservation issues that impact them, and the human impact on species survival. It was a rare and fun opportunity to see these beautiful and graceful birds up close. The event was sponsored by The Wesley Community. Visit the Saratoga Senior Center’s events page to see what engaging activities are coming up next!
