The COVID-19 pandemic has created difficult times for the residents of The Wesley Community and has impacted our organization which cares for them. This health crisis has created costs beyond Wesley’s normal operating budget and we need your help. The Wesley Community is home to those who have done so much for our community during their lifetimes. It’s time for all of us to now step up and be there for them when they need us most.

Virtually Travel the distance of one of three popular trails in Adirondack Park!
Share a Step for Seniors is our virtual fitness event that invites individuals of all ages to set a mileage goal for the week of June 19th through June 26th. You can get your mileage in with a walk outside, a bike ride around the neighborhood or a run on the treadmill, just make sure you log it! Take pictures of each exercise and tag us on Facebook or Instagram with #shareastep to show your progress and challenge others to stay accountable.
Virtually Travel the distance of the highly traveled trails of the Adirondack Park! Tag us in the photos of your virtual travels with #shareastep and #SASChallenger.
Challenge Tier 1:
Travel the distance of Wright Peak. A 7 Mile hike up the mountain to a beautiful view of North Hudson, NY and commonly known as the windiest peak of the 46 peaks! One mile a day over the course of the 7-day Share a Step for Seniors will take you the distance of this high peak!
Challenge Tier 2:
String together a trip up Mt. Emmons, Donaldson and Seward peaks to reach 3 of the high peaks at once. Share a Step for Seniors runs for 7 days, so 2.6 miles a day will get you through this 18-Mile trek, making a difference every step of the way!
Challenge Tier 3, Sponsored by CDPHP:
Take on this awesome challenge to travel the distance of the Saranac Lake 6er mountains! Crush this 37 mi. goal by getting in 5.3 miles a day for the duration of Share a Step for Seniors. This is a great goal if you like to get those miles in on your bike, but don’t be afraid to tackle this on foot!
How can you be a part of it?
- Create an individual fundraising page and share with your social circles.
- Create, or join, a team of your most energetic friends, family and coworkers to help meet a collective goal.
- Set a goal for you, or for your team, to walk, run or bike throughout the week. The goal is up to you!
- If you can’t participate, support another participant, make a general donation, or become a sponsor by completing the form below!
