Throughout spring, Wesley Health Care Center residents have been busy painting and decorating birdhouses in preparation for the 4th Annual Ballston Spa Birdhouse Competition. This competition marks the first tangible event that the residents have had with the greater Saratoga County community since the start of the pandemic.
This free program, made possible by Curtis Lumber and the Village of Ballston Spa, graciously provides all applicants with the birdhouses to build upon. The 18 decorated birdhouses Wesley has submitted are adorned with The Wesley Community logo on the bottom for easy identification. All birdhouses will be displayed along the streets of Ballston Spa, should you travel through or live in Ballston Spa, try to spot them all!
Thank you to our Maintenance Department, who provided sanding blocks, primer, polyurethane spray and guidance, to the Life Enrichment team and to the residents who worked hard to complete the projects.
