Paul Calhoun Sr., 92, recounts parachuting into Normandy on D-Day June 6, 1944 with the 101st parachute infantry, from his residence at Woodlawn Commons Thursday May 29, 2014, in Saratoga Springs, NY. He was wounded and captured by the Germans but managed to escape and aided by French civilians was able to rejoin US forces.
