Mary Jenks, an LPN on Wesley’s 2 Hathorn, recently presented the artwork of her daughter, Abby. Specialist Abigail Jenks was a member of the 82nd Airborne Division at Fort Bragg, N.C. who died during a training jump in April 2021. Abigail was a lifelong artist and Mary has created a collection of her daughter’s artwork for a memorial art show. Abby’s work is currently on display in Wesley’s Art Gallery located on the first floor of the Victoria Building at Wesley Health Care Center.

As part of the show’s opening Mary presented to an audience of Wesley Health Care Residents. The inspirational discussion included the stories behind various pieces and uplifting stories of Abigail’s life and philosophy. We thank Mary for sharing Abigail’s story and beautiful artwork with the community.
