The Wesley Community Celebrates National Nurses Week

National Nurses Week logo - a mutli-colored flame.
May 6-12 is National Nurses Week, where nurses are recognized for their hard work and positive contribution to healthcare. Nurse’s Week is a time where we can reflect on the many reasons why we value the care nurses provide as well as thank those nurses who have helped us. Nurses work to provide each patient with the highest quality of care and have made a positive impact in the lives of many.
Kim Garso, The Wesley Community’s Director of Nursing, shared how much Wesley appreciates our nurses…

“It takes a very special person to be a great Licensed Practical Nurse or a Registered Nurse. Here at Wesley they are helping our residents to do things they can no longer do without help. They are caring and compassionate and we could not survive at Wesley without them. They work closely with our residents and usually have great insight into how a resident is feeling. They know what the resident needs and they provide it with kindness and respect. We all depend on our nursing staff here at Wesley and they do a wonderful job!” –Kim Garso, Director of Nursing
