Leap of Kindness Day

“What will you do with an extra day?”

Leap of Kindness logo.

#LeapOfKindnessDay is a community focused campaign that takes place each Leap Year on February 29th. The campaign was created by the Saratoga Chamber of Commerce and encourages using the extra Leap Day for acts of kindness in one’s community. Since its inception, Leap of Kindness Day has spread throughout the U.S. and is gaining attention internationally.

In the days surrounding the event, local organizations and businesses delivered gifts to and spent time volunteering with Wesley Health Care Center residents. Thank you to all!

Wesley’s Health and Wellness Committee is also encouraging Wesley employees to take part leading up to February 29 and throughout the following week. Throughout campus there are displays featuring slips of paper with acts of kindness written on them. Employees are encouraged to take one and complete the act of kindness. The displays will be up until March 6, when the total number of acts of kindness will be shared.
