In an effort to keep family members updated regarding their loved one’s status and to promote our unit staff’s ability to focus on the care of our residents, a nurse will call the main medical contact for each resident who is COVID positive one time daily, 7 days a week, to provide an update on their loved one’s status. Please allow us time each day to reach out to you regarding your loved one.
Please utilize the resources below for resident updates in an effort to limit the number of calls to the main unit nurses stations.
The COVID Hotline should be utilized for COVID status updates and any general inquiries related to your loved one of both negative and positive status and will be monitored 7 days a week from 8:00 am until 5:00PM. Please leave a detailed message regarding your inquiry so that a response can be provided to you upon the return call. Residents and families residing in the Victoria or Hathorn Building should call 518-691-1690. Residents and families residing in the Springs Building should dial 518-691-1691.
In addition, A RN Nursing Supervisor is available on evenings and weekends for general resident inquiries and can be reached at 518-691-1493 for the Springs Building and 518-691-1593 for Hathorn and Victoria Building. Due to the increase in clinical needs among our residents, the supervisor may not be available to answer your call immediately, and we ask that you please leave a message with the receptionist at 518-587-3600 and a Supervisor will return your call as soon as they can.
A RN Unit Coordinator and Social Worker is available Monday – Friday, 8:00 am – 4:30 pm on each unit and is directly responsible for your loved ones’ care. Springs Building Social Workers can be reached at 518-691-1500 (2S & 3S) or 518-691-1507 (4S & 5S). Hathorn Building Social Workers can be reached at 518-691-1524 (2H) or 518-691-1531 (3H). Victoria Building Social workers can be reached at 518-691-1515.
An RN Unit Coordinator or RN Nursing Supervisor will contact the main medical contact for any immediate change of status regarding your loved one.
