Springs Building Renovation
SPRINGS BUILDING RENOVATIONS OF FIRST AND FIFTH FLOORS ARE COMPLETE
The first thing people notice when they approach the Springs building is the newly enhanced main entrance to Wesley Health Care Center. Modern sliding doors that smooth the progress of foot and wheelchair traffic now lead to the attractively refurbished reception area with its expanded gift shop.
Exiting the elevator on the updated fifth floor of the Springs building, people enter peaceful, welcoming surroundings with home-like comforts where residents can flourish in the person-centered environment that Wesley provides.
The two clusters of resident rooms on 5 Springs are designed to feel like neighborhoods, each with its own great room. Residents can socialize in the comfortable chairs around a fireplace or watch the big-screen television.
The two 5 Springs neighborhoods share a light-filled dining space with wonderful views of the outside. Food for meals is delivered to the kitchen from a centralized preparation area, but dishes and serving items are stored where used. The tables in this area give residents an inviting place for playing cards and games.
The number of private rooms on 5 Springs has increased and each room has new furnishings, a flat screen television, and its own European-style bathroom with shower. A new spa room with a jetted tub has safety lifts to help attendants assist residents in and out of the bath.
