If you want to live independently, but choose to make your home in a friendly, service-rich environment, Embury Apartments has what you’re looking for. We have affordable studio, one-bedroom, and two-bedroom apartments, as well as accessible units.
Embury underwent a major update in recent years and all of Embury's apartments now have new kitchens and appliances, and roomy walk-in showers with grab bars. Both towers are fully sprinklered and have a modern emergency alarm system.
Our friendly residents will welcome you at the socials, entertainments, and educational programs that fill our calendar. Public transportation is available at our door and free transportation to two major supermarkets is available on a regular schedule. If you don’t want to cook every day, you can enjoy breakfast or lunch at Embury Café, or have a meal delivered to your apartment.

Who is eligible for an apartment at Embury?
Embury accepts applications from individuals at least 62 years of age or couples when one person is at least 62 or older.
How does Embury's rental rate structure work?
Monthly rental rates are calculated based on the resident's income and include utilities.
Are meals available at Embury?
Each apartment has a complete kitchen for food preparation. However, the Embury Cafe offers a reasonably priced breakfast and lunch daily for those who prefer to take advantage of this meal option. Guests are welcome and reservations are not required.
What social opportunities are available at Embury?
Embury offers a wide range of scheduled activities ranging from musical programs to holiday parties, coffee socials to exercise classes. Comfortable resident lounges are available for residents who want to socialize with friends and neighbors.
May I have a pet in my apartment?
Embury allows certain pets. Restrictions apply and a deposit is required.
Is Embury an assisted living facility?
No. Embury offers apartments for independent seniors who are able to fulfill the conditions of the apartment lease.
Are any direct care services available at Embury?
Embury does not provide direct health care services to residents. Resident Service Coordinators and a Resident Health Advisor are available to consult with residents on a variety of issues affecting seniors who live independently. Staff can assist residents to match appropriate campus and community resources with the resident's health care and daily living needs.
Is there a waiting list for an apartment at Embury?
Yes. It's a good idea to plan ahead for housing needs when considering Embury. Please call for the latest information on the waiting lists for our low and middle income rental programs.
